I wanted to share some beautiful photos of the Berlin Wall exhibit I visited while in Berlin. About 1km of the wall was preserved after it fell and artists from all of the world were invited to come and contribute. There were some very moving murals and I really enjoyed looking at all of the art!
I’ve missed blogging, but I must say I’ve been having such a nice time in Croatia. This island is so beautiful and its going to be hard to leave! Though I must say… I am so excited to see my family, my boyfriend, my friends and my weenie dogs in 12 days! I’m trying to enjoy these last days because I know I will miss it when I get home.
Anyways, enough of the philosophical stuff…I thought I’d share some more photos with you guys 🙂
This lovely port is on the island of Brac, we parked here on a boat that we took for a day trip to the island. Lovely!
Such clear water, I can’t get over it!
Mojitos with Sue!
Delicious Martinis (do I have too many photos of alcohol?)
Bingo! This was our boats mascot. Super cute 🙂
Sunset at our villa
Not a nudist beach?? Yes, I was disappointed 😉
I’m writing this post from a beach chair on the edge of the water in Croatia. My friend Sue and I are staying on an island called Hvar in a little bay that is quite literally almost deserted. The villa where we are staying currently has one other couple, and there is a house across the water that doubles as a restaurant but has nothing but seafood on the menu because they catch it fresh everyday. No complaints from me, I love seafood. The weather has been indescribable, sunny not a cloud in the sky, and the water is so clear, I can see my the ocean floor without any trouble even when I’m swimming. We haven’t left to go exploring yet because we have everything we need here. However, we found out today that there is a beach one bay over with more people and a few bars and restaurants. If we can muster the energy to leave this gorgeous beach, we may go check it out.
We have 10 days total here so I’m crossing my fingers that I may be able to get a little tan! We’ll see… Here are some photos, hope you enjoy!
I simply couldn’t resist sharing with you the fantastic view I enjoyed this weekend and the delicious french meal that I had today. Tonight is my last evening in the Brittany region, and then tomorrow it’s back to real life. It’s been a very relaxing weekend and I hope that I’m now ready to tackle my exams en français! I was sad that I couldn’t be with my ma for mothers day. My whole family is spread around the world today. My sister is at school in Seattle, my mom is working in Nebraska and I am in France. Anyway, here’s a little view from my weekend 🙂
Did you guys do anything special this weekend?
