Time for another photo 🙂 Today’s theme is change. I think this word is my life in a nutshell at this moment in time. Between moving out of my dorm, traveling around Europe and moving back to U.S. there is a lot going on in my head and my heart.
Tara took this one for me on my last day of exams. These are the coffee machines that I’ve been visiting almost every morning before class this past year. I’m going to miss those 40 cent moccachinos! I know this picture shows a tiny change but it represents the end of a great life adventure and hopefully the beginning of a great new one.
I am officially moved out of my dorm! So crazy, I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by. Though I can’t pretend I was sad to leave my 9 square meter room behind. I have accumulated SO much stuff this year. I have absolutely no idea how I am going to get everything back to the U.S. We’ll see, first I have a little more traveling to do 🙂
Today’s theme is I Care About This… How perfect!
I Care About This…
This is my dear friend Cyrielle. She is the cutest little French girl I have ever met and has become one of my best friends. It is going to be so hard to leave her but she is coming to Seattle next spring to visit me! It is going to be so great 🙂 I’m so thankful to have met her and must wish her a Happy Late 23rd Birthday on my blog. Je t’aime Cyrielle!
Today is our last day in London and we are making the best of it! We leave for Paris tomorrow morning. Today’s photo theme was season. I had just the right photo that I took yesterday on our walk to Buckingham palace. Enjoy 🙂
We were so lucky to get a bit of good weather. This path finally convinced me that summer is coming! So beautiful and charming.
We are having such a blast in London, I can’t believe I have never been here! I apologize that I’ve been less active the last few days. We have so much to see and so little time 🙂 trying to keep up to date with my photo a day challenge! Today’s theme was mailbox, and I decided to share the horrendous status of my inbox with you guys.
Don’t judge me too harshly 😉
Hello from London! I love this city already and the people are really friendly! I’m gonna keep this post short and sweet because Tara and I have a lot of exploring to do but I can wait to share some photos with you guys later! Today’s theme is 7 o’ clock (or 7:45 if we’re talking about me)
7 o’ clock:
So excited to have Starbucks this morning! It’s been soooo long. We don’t have them in Nantes and I’ve been having withdrawals 😉
Have a great day!
I’m writing this post from the back yard of my friends house in Vertou. It’s sunny and warm and her mom is cutting peppers for dinner. I could get used to this 🙂 Today’s theme is Need. I don’t know if I really NEED anything right now, I think we tend to mix of the words need and want. I am very content here in the sun, although I would love to have my family, friends, boyfriend and weenie dogs here with me.
Ok, after some contemplating, I decided I need a nap with my weenie dogs. If you look closely, you will see that there is more than one! Taylor (my boyfriend) took this photo when I was home in March. I miss these little guys so much! Can’t wait to start training Gilbert when I get back this summer 🙂
Have a great rest of the day!
My photo is a little late today, I was out all day with Tara exploring Nantes and introducing her to all of my friends, but I wanted to post todays photo! The theme today is Sunrise/Sunset.
This photo was taken at one of my favorite places. The beach in Quibrone, a beautiful, tiny city in Brittany. This sunset was one of many gorgeous sunsets I have enjoyed there.
My friend Tara arrived last night from the states and I am so excited that she is here. We’re getting ready to tear up the town…look out Nantes 😉
Today’s photo theme is Mother. This made me a little sad at first because I miss my ma and I haven’t seen her in a long time. She is an incredible mother. Loving, beautiful, funny, intelligent, driven (sometimes too much so 🙂 ). I’m so lucky to have her in my life. Obviously, I had to grab another older photo because my mom and I are not currently in the same zipcode, let alone country.
This picture was taken at my sisters college graduation. That’s Emilee on the far right, and my ma on the left 🙂 I love my family. Can’t wait to see them in less than two months!
Hi beauties 🙂
Permit me to say that I am impressed with myself for so far not missing a day of the may photo a day challenge. Maybe I should be embarrassed for admitting that this is an accomplishment for me, but what can ya do? Today’s theme is Smile.
We had a little soirée Friday night with all of the students from my language program at the University of Nantes. This is me with two of my lovely friends HyemYoung from Korea and Mano from Georgia (the country not the state 😉 ) As is custom with me, I had to squat because the combination of my 6 foot self + heels, can make photos look a little funny. I can’t believe how soon I am leaving France. I’m going to miss all of the great people I have met here.
It’s time for another photo from my May Photo a Day Challenge. Today’s theme was Stars. I don’t know why some of the simplest inspirations are the most difficult for me, but hey, I’m working on developing more creative juices this month.
I don’t think I need to tell you where this photo was taken. (I hope not) I actually took this photo in the winter when my mom and I were in Paris. She came to visit me for Christmas. I suppose this is technically cheating because I took this photo a couple of months ago but too bad. You can see the tiny moon in the top right corner, and there were a couple of twinkling stars, though I realized when I uploaded this photo that you can’t see them…dang iPhone camera. Regardless, I love this photo, and I’m starstruck every time I visit Paris so it kind of fits with today’s theme…kind of.
